Get to Know Me

As a Physical Therapist I specialize in the care of orthopedic injuries. Both helping people who have undergone surgery to get the best results possible, and guiding people with injuries that do not require surgery through recovery and return to activity. I enjoy working with a wide variety of patients, from young athletes to weekend warriors, and particularly enjoy helping my senior patients find their way to a more active life through reduced pain, improved strength, and better balance.

I grew up here in Washington and received my Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington after attaining a BS in Biology with emphases in microbiology and human genetics. I feel very strongly that collaboration between patients and providers is the key to providing the best care. This means striving to adapt treatment plans to achieve each patient’s goals while honoring their preferences and working within the parameters of their busy lives.

When I’m not at the clinic I enjoy the business of family life; alongside my husband I captain our minivan to the coffee shop, to the children’s sports and music, to the mountains for hiking and snowboarding, to culinary adventures, to the nursery to indulge my plant addiction, to the beaches, and to the dog park. Whenever the opportunity arises I enjoy travelling even farther afield than the minivan can take us!
