Get to Know Me

I grew up in Connecticut and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I met my husband while living in Virginia for 3 years before we moved to Washington in 1988.

I believe that it is very important to never stop learning and improving our skills, so I have taken many continuing education classes over the years. In 2012 I became certified in the MYK Technique, and utilize MYK in addition to posture awareness, manual therapy, exercise, and other appropriate modalities to help each patient reach their goals and return to full activity. My patients tease me that I must have organic GPS in my fingertips because I’m so good at finding the source of their pain!

When I’m not working with my patients you can find me singing in a choir or playing flute in one of several small ensemble groups and the Monroe Community Band. I also enjoy traveling, baking, photography, and playing with my Siberian husky rescue dogs.
